This is my chosen masthead for my hip-hop/rap magazine, i think it would attract audiences that range between teenagers from the age of 16 to people in their late twenties. I will experiment with different colours and logo's to go with this masthead. I've chosen quite a plain font because my magazine will focus on upcoming artists and orientate my magazine around the street and in paticular 'battles' which occur between rival artists. Therefore, having a rather plain and simple font will hopefull highlight the seriousness of the situation and i won't risk having a 'cheesey' magazine by using a ridiculous over exagerated font. Also, the sexual inuendo in the title may attract a lot more attention than your average music magazine, i think it would catch the attention of much more male readers if i used this as my masthead.

Greetings!
Hey there, my name is Jono Kamester and I am a AS media student at The Kings School in Ottery St Mary.
I have been given the task to make a music magazine which consists of a front cover, contents page and double page spread.
I have also been given the task using DTP and an image manipulation program to produce the front page of a new school/college magazine, feauturing a photograph of a student and some appropriatly laid out text and a mast head.
